Prayer Matters:

1. The “Prayer Chain”: Ros Holley writes: With Val Smith’s blessing I have taken over the prayer chain again. Thank you Val for all you have done over the past couple of years.

The prayer chain will operate on Email from now on, as messages can get a bit like Chinese whispers on the phone!

All requests need to come to me either by phone or on Email. As far as possible those who are to be put on the prayer chain should be asked for their permission but there may be circumstances in an emergency that their permission cannot be obtained. This is part of the data protection policy which we are signed up for.

Please contact me Ros Holley 01983 755515 or rosholley@uwclub.net with requests.

2. Prayer for Children and Young People: Dan Wells writes:

Please continue to pray that the [Holiday Bible Club] children would connect in with other stuff going on throughout the year!

I would also like to invite you to pray for us as we go to Soul Survivor on Saturday. We will be going to the Christian worship festival as a big group of about 70 from the island, camping and eating together! Please pray that the young people would encounter Jesus there, that they would really grow in their faith and have an amazing time!

3. The upstairs Prayer Room at Christ Church is at present set out with various aids to prayer on the theme of The Trinity. Please feel welcome to come and pray here on your own or in a small group at any time when the church is open, which is every day.
